Light is ignorant of Dark.
Forever Dark lives unknown to Light,
For the moon seeks the sun
But the sun cares not for the moon,
And all the moon ever finds is
A disgusting half-dead planet
Inhabited by a species loathed by all others.
This poor, pitiful shadow weeps
For all of its pathetic existence
Seeking redemption but none is found.
Light walks over Dark never asking for permission
While Dark hides like the shadow it is.
Shy, insecure darkness.
It cowers in fear of the world around it while
Light boasts and brags of its spectacular life,
Unknowingly making Dark even more
Jealous and spiteful and twisted than it was before.
It is holding onto its sanity
By the tiniest of threads and,
Soon, those threads will snap.
